My 3 year nappiversary has come and gone. I have gone through lots of trials and recently had it pressed for the first time since I took my locs out. Last night I actually used the Conair Prostyler that Derick got me for Christmas...OMG! It WORKS! Check out the before and after pictures...

It's my Nappiversary!!!! Although, a day late; it's neva too late to celebrate and give thanks for appreciation and growth. I'm truly blessed by the good information that has been unselfishly bestowed to me from fellow beautiful sisters. I've been able to incorporate that valued information into my life, and it has truly enriched me from the inside out. Asante sana to all my wonderful original sisters aboard!

Changes...

Over the past few years, I have gone through so many changes (in my life and with my hair). I went from relaxer, to natural, to locks and now back to natural. What do I want to do with it? I feel like I'm so confused about everything in my life (especially my hair). Let me think!

It's been a while and yall already know...

Yall know I am still natural, but decided to lock up my hair about 4 months ago. It's going well. Taking a long time to lock...but it's coming along. The pic is actually like two months old...but I will give an updated pic after I take one. =)

If she asks one more time. . .

I love my grandmother to pieces, please don't get me wrong. But if she ask one more time for me to wear "a little piece" (aka a wig) for an upcoming family event, I'm gonna go off on her. To her it's really confusing why I cut all my 'so-called' beautiful-processed hair off to go around looking nappy.

Hair Restoration Project I

Okay, so here's the deal! I've been extremely busy in the past two months. School. Life. Family. Love. You name it, and I've been involved with it! Trying to finding time to blog has been a low priority. Including in my neglect has been my hair. This picture is an example of the damage that my hair has sustained for the past few weeks. Dry, rough, breaking, and dull is the status of my hair.

Fed-up, I became proactive and took drastic measures to restore the beauty and luster my hair deserves.

This is the first part of my project. Heavy conditioning and homemade hair dressing will be the source of my new found HAIR glory!

Below are pictures of the products and steps I took to get my hair back into to balance. Please stay tune to the final results.
